The Gaither Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment is designed to provide substantive work experience for students who are seriously interested in international affairs.
Approximately 10-12 students will be hired to work as employees at the Carnegie Endowment in Washington, DC on a full-time basis for a period of one year.
Fellows provide research assistance to scholars working on the Carnegie Endowment’s projects: nuclear policy, democracy and rule of law, energy and climate issues, Middle East studies, Asia politics and economics, South Asian politics, Southeast Asian politics, Japan studies, and Russian and Eurasian affairs.

- Minimum 3.65 average GPA
While UT does not facilitate a Gaither Junior Fellowship campus selection process at this time, all students must make an appointment with ONSF in order to access the application and discuss their plans. The application includes the application form, two essays, resume, two recommendations, and a transcript.
