Amgen Scholars allows undergraduates from across the globe to participate in cutting-edge research opportunities at world-class institutions.

Seventeen institutions across the U.S., Europe and Japan currently host the summer program.

Notes:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents;
  • Undergraduate students enrolled in accredited four-year colleges or universities in the United States, Puerto Rico or other U.S. territories; and sophomores (with four quarters or three semesters of college experience), juniors or non-graduating seniors (who are returning in the fall to continue undergraduate studies).
  • A cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or above; and
  • An interest in pursuing a Ph.D. or M.D.-Ph.D.
