Post-Graduate Funding: UK & Ireland

All UT undergraduates and alumni must meet with Nichole Fazio-Veigel, Director of the ONSF, as soon as possible (, to discuss their UK/Ireland applications and the campus endorsement process.

Final Campus Deadline for all UK and Ireland opportunities: August 24, 2015

All application materials must be uploaded to on-line application systems, including biographical information, short essays, personal statements, program of interest statements, and as many letters of recommendation as possible. Printed materials may be submitted to Nichole Fazio-Veigel by 5:00 p.m. EST on the day of the campus deadline: ONSF, Baker Center Suite 130.

Campus interviews for the UK opportunities will occur during the first week of September. Any UT student or alumni applying for a UK/Ireland post-graduate scholarship or fellowship must be nominated and fully endorsed.  Applicants applying for more than one opportunity will only sit for a single nomination interview.

UT Alumni are eligible to apply for any of the UK and Ireland post-graduate funding opportunities. However, some programs have stated age-restrictions. Consult their respective websites for further details. All current students and alumni must apply through UT in order to be selected for formal endorsement as a UT nominee.

  • American Rhodes Scholarship: October 7, 2015
  • British Marshall Scholarship: October 1, 2015
  • Gates-Cambridge Scholarship: mid-October (US students), early-December (International students), 2015
  • George Mitchell Scholarship: October 1, 2015
  • NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program: early-December, 2015
