ONSF staff will be busy this summer offering insights, participating in discussions, and learning from colleagues at the 8th National Association of Fellowships Advisors (NAFA) Conference, ‘The Road Less Traveled’, hosted this year by the University of California, Berkeley.
Nichole Fazio-Veigel, Director of the ONSF, and Becca Mattingly-Harman, GSA for the ONSF, will co-facilitate a panel presentation on the personal statement process as significant for undergraduate student development with colleagues from the University of Chicago and the University of New Mexico.
Nichole will also be co-presenting a session with Jane Morris, Director of the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships at Villanova University and former NAFA president, and Mary Denyer, Assistant Secretary & Head of Scholarship Administration of the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission, on the significant, high-impact relationship between undergraduate research and national scholarship and fellowship advising.
Becca Mattingly-Harman will take the lead on a poster presentation and discussion about ‘Year of Intention’ opportunities and post-graduate advising with Nichole and a colleague from Oberlin College.
